I was taught, “Only God creates.”

As kids, we all believed.

Something from nothing, from dark came light,

Yet somehow this feels unreal.

For when God created, he could not help

For man to be creative.

Just look at all that has been done,

Don’t say we’re vegetative.

While this is true, don’t start to think

Evil does not exist.

For Hell is real– you don’t believe?

Please help me reminisce:

Recall your days of youth and joy,

This freedom was could-nine.

Then evil told an innocent child,

“It’s time to stand in line.”

The kids obeyed, as they lined up,

To follow one another.

But now I sit and really wonder

What we can rediscover.

“Black and blue” – the only ink.

“Make sure it’s double spaced.”

“And don’t forget a proper heading;”

“Print two copies just in case.”

“Don’t read those books.” “Don’t take that class.”

“Math and Science gets you far. “

“You should focus on your work instead,”

The end goal seems so bizarre.

This Evil, the Man, the System, its games,

Have played us all for months.

But now you know– the truth set free.

Take up your guard at once:

To be what God intended for all,

Before the fall of man:

Have fear to follow, and lead your line;

Creativity: The Promised Land.
